I actually disagree. This camera angle is great once in a while and definitely good for learning and for seeing a different side of things, but it doesn't let you see all the action. If anything, the camera angle used at Cincinatti is the best
@hattrickster33

Cinque I can see what you mean. I like the camera angle at Cincinnati since it lets you see more of the court at the same time. But I personally prefer the closer angle to the court because it lets you see how they play each shot. A good compromise would be to give you both options. So stream the match from different angles so you can just choose either one.

Thanks for uploading this. This is the best camera angle to watch tennis. Watching from above distorts the game into something it isn’t. This angle lets us see the true pace and touch and height of each shot, just as the players see it. This is as realistic as playing. More people would be able to appreciate tennis if they could watch from this vantage point. It is too bad major networks stick to the overhead view. If you are an actual tennis player when do you ever play floating above the court?

I agree i believe that as soon as a rally started, it was clear federer was the better player, but the playstyle of people like isner and karlovic make it almost impossible to win other than on tiebreaks, because they have rocket serves that are almost always followed up by running to the net and pressuring the opponent.

great filming from a perfect court angle. really show people who want to learn that the pros don't blast balls unless its a guaranteed put away. 90 percent is hit with medium speed , heavy spin or slice for control. the only time speed comes into play are court coverage and first serves.

There's some diminishing returns on height though. That's why in basketball the giants who are 7'5+ aren't the all time greatest players. They just can't move as good as the shorter players... With today's athletes better than ever, they can get to the extra ball in tennis. It seems like 6'1 - 6'3 (Nadal, Federer, Djok, Murray) is the optimal height. But the trend I feel like will be getting taller... so in 10-20 years there will be someone with as much skill as Nadal/Federer but is 6'6 and he will dominate.

Is it just me or does the serves looks really fast than the TV cameras (especially Isner's)? Also the rally shots looked slower in this angle than TV camera. Federer is not trying to rip every forehand. He focuses on control and placement than speed. Learned a few things watching this video. Thank you.
