In 1919, precisely one hundred years ago, a new radical political phenomenon emerged in full force on the European political scene: fascism. To mark this dark anniversary, the International Association for Comparative Fascist Studies (ComFas, www.comfas.org) has initiated a series of short talks on the history and legacy of fascism. Our first respondent is the reputed historian Roger Griffin (Oxford Brooks University, Oxford, UK), in dialogue with Constantin Iordachi (CEU Budapest, Hungary).
