No. Please stop spreading that misinformation. David claims three tracks were filmed because those tracks are the ones they needed closeups for. In June 1981 after the final Earls Court concert, they reviewed the concert films and they didn't have closeups. They took to a studio and built an Earls Court stage replica, specifically for getting these songs done (Happiest Days, Brick 2, Mother). They did multiple takes of each. Parts of this session can be seen in multiple film source documentaries by Roger. All of June 1981 was filmed professionally, but only closeups for three. I got this information by Ed Grundman, who worked on the tour and snapped photographs of this session.

@@ThePFRG I remember arriving at the show around 6PM. I couldn't believe that I was able to walk to the front of the stage. around 5 rows back. I remember we were all bouncing a large balloon back and forth before the start of the concert. I remember the group walked on stage during the intro to sheep. No greetings what so ever. As if there was no audience. Snobby like. The sound was awful. Lots of echoes and feedback. While playing dogs, just before the intermission, Roger lost it. The audience were kind of fed-up with the length of Dogs and were starting to become disinterested. There wasn't only one person trying to get to the front of stage, there were quite a few people trying. I remember telling my friend who was next to me that Roger was filling his glass of beer which was on Ricks organ. Not only did he spit and dump the glass of beer all over the guy, Roger also made an obscene masturbation gesture. Only Roger would admit if asked. I guess he would be pretty to embarrassed to admit it. My friend and I remember it as if were yesterday. The rest of the concert went well except for the sound quality. David and Rick appeared bored, however I found Snowy to be outstanding. I remember the encore was a blues song. David was not there for the encore , and the rest of the band looked exhausted. I remember they were dismantling Nicks gear while he was playing at the end. . That was funning because all he had left was one snare and one drum.. I remember near the end that there were fireworks that were part of the show were going off even surprising the band as they appeared startled by this. Dont know what else to say..

@@ThePFRG I wish I had a camera or tape recorder. I do regret it. I was kind of broke in those days. Cameras were expensive .. even in the 70s. I did attend a pink floyd concert in 1975, right after graduating from high school.. The concert was held outdoors 50k people and the sound was outstanding. It was their wish you were here and dark side tour , the encore was echoes, which I believe was the last tour that echoes was played by the band. I attended other pink Floyd concerts in 1987 and 1994 as you know without Roger. I attended a david gilmour concert in 1984, followed by Roger water concert in 1999 and many other Roger waters concerts that followed. . It would be fantastic if the 3 surviving members can do a zoom concert , playing echoes . Dont you agree ? lol.

True, as Bob Ezrin will attest, although most people, including Howard, who hang around him claim he's a perfectly amiable guy to hang around. GE Smith says he's a good friend, and if GE Smith sticks with you, you've got to be all right. And to be fair, many rock stars have fairly, uh, 'interesting' marriages. Basically George Harrison had to simply live with his bed hopping, but not all women who are married are willing to put up with that. But certainly its a weird irony to hear a guy like this talk about 'world peace'. I don't know if the takeaway is that old white guys just shouldn't be listened to, or if a guy THIS malcontent can get on the peace train, then anybody can.
