Ernesto, I don't know but if there's a demo file that I can download to try it out, just let me know.

The audio worked from different inputs without an Arc hdmi? Oh it's on an optical.

Yes, it's on optical on that older TV. If you are in the UK, both Argos and Amazon seem to be selling it at about half-price, which is a total bargain.

@@GNCandrew Yeah, I just bought one for 60 :) Though I wish it had a 3.5m aux it's what put me off buying it before as I was going to use it with a computer monitor and it's the only Roku (in the UK) that I haven't got. Btw did you know on most of them you can use a Now TV remote? Oh and thanks for responding.

Brilliant video! Did you try the speech clarity feature and sound leveling in the setting?
@GNCandrew

I didn't really try the sound levelling but I did think the speech clarity helped. Some films are irredeemable - you can't fix mumbling - but thought there was an improvement for those programmes where the problem is just lots of background noise.

Hi, it sends audio to the tv by HDMI? Can you listen your tv and the sound bar at the same time? And it plays videos from the usb?
@GNCandrew
3 жыл бұрын
Yes, it plays videos from the USB. That's the easy one......not quite too sure what you mean by can you listen to the TV and the sound bar at the same but I'll try to explain. On my TV which has ARC, the speakers on the TV are effectively turned off and the sound always comes out the Roku sound bar, regardless of where the audio is coming from. If you had an older TV without ARC, you could have sound coming from both devices but it might sound a little weird as it might not be perfectly in sync.

I bought one on black friday. I like it but still trying to figure out how to use it as a bluetooth speaker

On the Roku, you go into. Settings and then something like Remotes and devices. There's an option in there to pair device. You go through the usually paring process with your phone or tablet. Then you choose the Bluetooth channel/app on the Soundbar, and you're all set. Play music on the phone and it comes out the Soundbar.

No is the short answer, but there are some workarounds. Search for "Roku Kodi" to get some suggestions.

I'm happy with the streambar overall, sound quality excellent, functionality easy to use. But my TV only has two hdmi, one arc, other normal, but I need another hdmi as I have fire stick and a PVR connected, us there anyway to add additional hdmi via splitter. I know streambar also has optical connector but unsure if that will solve my hdmi shortfall (confused)

You can get HDMI switches/splitters relatively inexpensively but you might need to get one with manual control otherwise when the output changes on the FireTV or Roku, the autoswitchers will change HDMI input. I had this problem on a monitor that only had one HDMI. The optical connector won't help as it's audio only.
