On the Thursday, March 23, 2024, nearly 500 friends, family, of the legendary car owner and tuner Roland Leong, gathered at the Lions Automobilia Foundation and Museum in Southern California.
Jack Beckman emceed the celebration along with NHRA greats, Don Prudhomme, Ron Capps, Larry Reyes, Steve Gibbs, Mike Dunn, Donnie Couch and Pat Galvin. Rolands, daughters, Lani and Londa, represented the Leong family and shared many stories of growing up with their legendary and beloved father.
The Lions Automobilia Foundation was founded by Rick Lorenzen in 2019 and has become the most talked about automotive museum in Southern California. The more than 100,000 sq ft facility houses more than 150 vehicles on display and is the Home to the Spirit of Lions Dragstrip. Amongst the large collection of cars, the Foundation includes a restoration facility and youth engagement program.
The Lions Automobilia Foundation's Mission is to Honor and Preserve the History of Motorsport and Southern California Car Culture for Future Generations.
The Lions Automobilia Foundation is open to the public on Wednesday's and Saturday's 9am to 2pm. The Foundation includes 6 galleries with multiple venue rental options for groups as little as 10-20 to groups up to 500.
