Man oh man I have to get my act together , do you use flux , I have had trouble w/ my graphite crucible how many time are you able to use them safely ?

@@Hill-13 not really there are 3 methods one flux creates a barrier between oxygen and the liquid metal to stop oxidation. Two powderd glass to create the same effect. 3 do not stir the dross covers the metal stops the oxygen causing the same effect. In gold and silver melting a flux usually borax is used to stop any sticking to the porcelain crucible. So I choose not to use have had no problems as of yet brother
