This man, MT, belongs in the top 20, if not top 10, lists of guitarists in rock! The man's tone is SO amazing to hear. Those fans in Newark witnessed something truly historical in rock music that night!

Throughout the 72-73 Stones tours, Taylor played some of the greatest leads in the history of rock music! The man was phenomenal back then and he's still great today!

Thanks for a great view and listen to the master - Mick Taylor. Like all of us, he has lost some speed and precision over the many years but still sounds very, very good. For those who missed it - view some of the early 70s Stones on the tube. Taylor just rips through many of the classics.

I hope the Stones release a CD from the recent mini-tour, and include this performance of Midnight Rambler. I'd buy it.

Yes, Taylor sounds so good on this. Much better than the London gigs, although even on those, the man is magical. The master indeed!!

Look I know it's not 1973 but this still gave me the chills. I saw some criticism of MT's playing at the O2 shows. I think he tried to do too much instead of letting it flow through him and into the song like he does here. The band seemed to adjust better as well. Charlie and Keith are rocking out and kudos to Ronnie Wood for being a good dude and a hell of player himself.

Correct speed, they played it way too slow on the 15th!
