I don't step on roaches when they crawl across my floor And if I saw your body burning in the street, I'd put you out With gasoline And when the garbage piles up past my knees, and the rats are running free I'll say we're even And you'll know that it's the end of something Touch your fear, don't be afraid Touch your fear, don't be afraid Don't be afraid, don't be afraid, don't be afraid, don't be afraid It's the end of something The tears from your eyes that you cried have dried And theres nothing left to say And when you see that the time we spent together meant nothing And you couldn't make me stay Remember me, and my eyes, and how they saw you Remember me, and my voice, and what I said It's over, and now there's nothing Oh it's the end, the end of something Touch your fear, don't be afraid Touch your fear, don't be afraid Don't be afraid, don't be afraid, don't be afraid, don't be afraid It's just the end of something It's so cold It's the end, it's the end It's so cold The laughter has died away, and now I see The joke was on me The cold winds are blowing through my clothes And I've got no one, nothing, nowhere to go My flesh is pulling tight against my bones And I'm thinking "Man, you'd be better off stoned" But I know, yes I know, oh I know This is the end of something Touch your fear, don't be afraid Touch your fear, don't be afraid Touch your fear, touch your fear, touch your fear, touch your fear It's just the end of something It's so cold It's the end of something Don't be afraid, don't be afraid, don't be afraid to touch your fear

Henry, I found out i was a punk rocker in 1984 and my 1st love was tv party. You haven't changed a bit other than becoming wiser and better looking; now you're an inspiration to many generations and I'm so proud of you! My parents prayed for my soul every time i blasted my Black Flag and i laughed and told them to pray for themselves to be 1/2 as godly as the punks and the metalheads! I love ya man, thanks for everything. Especially "He Never Died" awesome

Rollins Band music really helps me through my life. This song...every time something I had with other people...a romantic relationship, a professional one...a friendship...whatever...I feel like I can't take it. I sense how off the relationship is and I know...it's the end...of something. You don't really hear much of that feeling in music. But this is right on point. It's like the crux of a life moment.

I remember watching this video on I think 120 Minutes. Before the video he talked about why he put his name before the band. How he was grateful to the guys in the band . He said how those guys were the true musicians. How he wasn't a musician and didn't know a note from a chord but when there was criticism of the band it wasn't going to be the drummer who was talked about but Rollins, himself. I just liked that he acknowledged how much he owed to the guys in the band.

Great instrumental guitar, Didn't remember that song. That's a band that keeps true to it's own beliefs, use the bass, the guitar, use the instrumental to give ambiance, to give much better quality to the song. gets synergy with the vocals, don't rely only on it. The result is a real song.

One of those times was today where I had to break up with a depressive friend who tried to drown us both in sorrow and I couldn't keep us both afloat. "The End Of Something" visual upload is captivating, and I would digTF out of the uploaded track. I await "the end of something," that is, the return to analog and annihilation of the innate clipping that is digital. A terrible thing is that I have to compensate with a downloaded equalizer that is digitally matched to my desktop hardware, nothing above 16kHz. Then the great volume of this track, uploaded dB's above most others, cuts even more harmonics for the spectacular digital offering of clear as a fundamental sans any complementing overtones followed by its juxtaposed contrast of the sandpaper effect.

2019. Its It's the end of good music. It's like they weren't even trying and they're were 10× better than anything coming out today. I thought having a son ( now 20) I'd learn new good music. But no, he listens to the same great stuff I did, and still do. It's great running into bands like these again. So many memories get tied to music I was listening to at the time. So it's like reliving 2 great things at the same time. In definitely not going to stop this time. Henry Rollins is like a poet on steroids. I'd love to go to one of his lectures.

On my Comment of thirteen days ago, I still dig these digital sounds, and have "The End Of Something" in a Private Playlist. Here, too, is a live concert, Arctic Monkeys Live At Festival Rock Werchter 2023. It is analog sound. If you, Henry Rollins, are inclined toward that music, you can find the pale gray, nearly invisible, even with reading glasses, "magnifying glass" icon (using Chrome browser on a desktop Apple, iMac) above the visual for the video. To the left of the magnifying glass icon is a KZitem search bar in which you can type the perts to find the live Arctic M video.

Got really really really lucky when I was a kid and saw Rollins band on the gum and burn tour. He is really proud of the fact that this song is based on something by Ernest Hemingway, they should have won all the awards for that album and this video is one of the greatest accomplishments in the history of music videos and that is a fact and it will remain a fact forever because this video will always remain an unsung milestone in entertainment, as Mr Henry himself is to some degree. The historical significance the liminal ephemeral and subliminal messages in the video the Germs logo... It seems to be about Kurt Cobain, as everything seemed to around that time. He had a lot of friends, a lot of people couldn't stand to let go of Kurt. Watch a video earlier today, members of MudHoney talking about touring with Nirvana... And somehow this video ties into that too, it's about Henry's escape from the toxic forces of the 🌎🌍
