Okay, today is a very special lesson because it is our very first music lesson. Today we are going to be looking at how to use the major scale, we will start with C because it has no flats or sharps, and how we can use that scale to construct major chords, and how those major chords can be labeled with a roman numeral so we can use those roman numerals to transpose the music as well and than we will look at how it pertains to a baritone ukulele as well.
This lesson is designed to get all my ukulele players thinking a little bit more about music theory, why it is important and how we can use it to construct beautiful chord progressions that we can transpose into other keys, but also how we can use this philosophy to analyze non-diatonic chord progressions so we can still some tasty secrets from our favorite song writers to make our chord progressions bigger and more complete. This is a fun one, bring your attention span for sure.
