MacVille , It may look like a beautiful way of life but I can assure you from my experience as a child in Britain during the 1960s ( yes ..as late as that ) all fit adults and children helped during haymaking , it felt like hell . Every part of our bodies hurt , blisters on hands and feet ..rashes all over arms ..legs ..back of the neck ..midge bites because anti-bite stuff hadn't been invented. .sunburn for same reason . If these had been around they were probably too expensive , several people did cut themselves quite badly but ..unless almost fatal ..we just carried on , we children never used the scythe but the bales of hay were nasty itchy heavy things . All through the year there was backbreaking work to be done so I really wish you well because I have a jolly good memory , nowadays in Britain and the Republic of Ireland things are a lot easier but still backbreaking work for farmers .Rose coloured spec's don't work on me at all .

Almost one and a half million Hungarian live in Transylvania, about the 7% of Romania. In Transylvania Hungarians are the native people. Romanians started to emigratethere in the 17.-18 cetury, and millions of Romanians were artifically settled there in the 20. century. Hungarians live there for more than 1100 years. The cultura herritage of Transylvania is absolutely Hungarian!

Balázs HB come on man ... Transylvania - it’s a Latin name given by the Romans .. through the forest ... we speak a Latin language . The Huns came in Europe a thousand years later .. Hungary is related to Turkish language being a fino ugric language .. they tried to conquer them just like the romans but couldn’t and settled in the plaines where Hungary is today . Technically you have more Thracian dna that hun at this point.if you go by language you’re a fairly new European country :

@balazshb8239
5 жыл бұрын
@@liviadeswert5774 Given by the Romans, not by Romanians. Theres no relation between them. There's no real historican, who claims that Romanians are from Romans. However it's obvious that a nation like Romanian, whom history remounts to the 17. century, and theres no historican act/contrivance/arhitecture/literature or anything whereat the Romanian natiom could be proud of, try to creat a fairy tale about their history to explain stealing ancient Hungarian lands. They crated nothing and added nothing to the Europen cultural heritage, so it follows that their culture is not part of Europe. The reason of it, that they were shepherds, footmans, this is how they started to settle in Erdély(Transylvania) : Humgarian noblemans settled them, becous of their cheep labour force. (I'm not try to degrading country mans) These are historical facts. They didn't really have a noble class or intelligentsia, so that's why they don't have a glorious culture/history. In the 20. century they contrived a false history to brace nationalism. (But we can see that it wasn't successful: millions emigrate form there, Romania is faceing with desolation.) Wherever you go in Transylvania, you'll find only Hunagrian and Saxon arhitecture and cultural heritage, that's why I love that place, and I feel like home there. There's only corporeal borders, but there's no intellectual border. No one can tear it from Hungary.
