Din toata frumusetia aceasta a folclorului nostru autentic nu Ai vazut nimic bun numai unde ajunge cu arcusul ce trist ca nu stim sa apreciem adevarate valori al folclorului nostru.

My paternal grandparents were from Rozavlea and Sighetu. I wonder if this or any other of their played music would have been familiar for them... (Couldn't have showed this unfortunately, they passed way before 2017).

@@g.h.8480 Oh, I see. Nice... I wish they would have lived a bit longer and found such as these in the 2000s (my grandmother passed in 1999, she was 77).

the word gypsy shouldn't really call us that gypsy in many places we are known as cigani, atzigano, gitani, gypsy but in Greek in the ancient language it was the correct expression OROMEOS which means ARAMAEO diminutive ROM ROMANI but the historian of England happened to misinterpret that in part of the land or region of Egypt there was some consciousness of verbal expression to determine us as the Egyptians where in current modern Greek it determines us atziganoi which means the untouchable the dirty sick from there began the evolution of the word gypsy but we are not gypsies we are rom romanis = arameans

Depends of the perception. But people are what they call themselves. Given names are always a bit… oriented. I mean, whatever. At the end we are all peoples. Some cultures do or did travels more. But that’s less because of any namings than doing it with “a touch I humanity".
