I also greatly appreciate the information in the subtitles gaining knowledge of what we are looking at. Another delight is hearing the Italians speaking their beautiful and musical language.

I am so so grateful for these videos. My wife and I visited Rome in 2010 for a week but now due to advanced age I will not be able to return. I watch every one of your videos that comes up on KZitem and cannot wait for the next one. I appreciate the slow and careful camera work in the churches so as to give us the best look at all the beauty. Thank you so much for what you have done and I hope you will continue to give us these marvelous views of the Eternal City. Grazie mille!

Roma è ricchissima di cose da vedere molte delle quali semi-nascoste o poco conosciute. L'intento di questa pagina è proprio scoprire o riscoprire insieme questi luoghi. 🙂

Enchanting visit to the undiscovered section of Trastevere! Thank you for highlighting the names of the streets and piazzas. I follow along with my map which makes me feel like I'm walking in Rome right at that moment! Next time I'm in Rome, I'll have to look more closely at the buildings to see hidden Roman columns! Grazie mille!

I'm Portuguese and as often as I visit Rome, it's impossible to get to know it completely. Places that I think I knew after all I barely know. Your videos are educational and fantastic. Thanks !

Certes, mais il est difficile de filmer des vidéos à certains endroits car cela n'est souvent pas autorisé. Chissà, forse in futuro qualcosa si riuscirà a fare. 🙂

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Julius Caesar live in this neighborhood growing up as a kid and when he first ran for elected office (pontiff, I think)??

Cesare was born and spent his childhood in the Suburra, later the territory of Trastevere, the Horti Caesaris became his property. 👋

😉 kzitem.info/news/bejne/2aqh4IickJ2Ha2k

Layers of history have made it a maze of alleys, and those who have governed it for years have not taken great care of it. 😏
