Why this is wrong ❌
The majority of these core exercises are flexion based exercises performed with smilier ranges of motion, speeds, tempo, weight (If any), and positions.
This movement targets the rectus abdominals. These are the known as the "6 Pack Abs". These core muscles play a major role in the flexion of the lumbar spine & stabilising the pelvis while the Psoas powerfully contracts to bring the thigh forward in swing phase. However, they are arguably contribute less to improving performance on the pitch compared to the Internal/External Obliques and Transverse abdominals.

- Rotation/Anti-Rotation
- Lateral Flexion/ Anti-Lateral Flexion
- Anti Extension
