About a week ago my fiance saw this in Target while I was in a class. We have gotten the Ronco Rotisserie and I personally can't get the thing to work and cook things as they saw, so I was skeptical of this one. The either love it or hate it reviews and lack of videos didnt help the decision. But I have a hard time cooking meats in general and we live in a studio with no real stove or ventilating. It's hard to try to cook things and have a huge mess cleaning this up, and our counter space is very limited. So we figured it couldn't hurt to try, we could always return it. I won't be returning it, but I will be buying the kabob basket, and that's after ONE TRY! A couple days ago we did our grocery shopping and picked up some steaks to try with this. Today we washed all the parts and i preheated and cooked steak and zucchini in it while making a Knorr rice dish on the stove. I was insecure and added 5 minutes to the steak, which was my personal mistake.if I had not done that, this meal would have been perfect. And I loom forward to what else we can cook in it. Maybe now my fiance will get short ribs he is always asking for...

I found one just yesterday morning in the recycling bin. Never been used in great shape.. I'm looking at those for side panels I thought immediately this going to be hard to clean. Worse yet it's really hard to pull out the larger side panels. And that wide drip pan I just hope it catches all the drips. I like the uniqueness of the design. It is a 5 inch wide space saver.. I'm afraid to try it but I got attempted I heard in 1 review a grilled London broil isn't really Sheard or grilled much on the outside that's strange. But the inside seems okay tasting even though it's not evenly grilling. I recommend you cut into it and rub the spaceship spices into the cuttings.. he says the outside edges of the meat doesn't get cooked right away so maybe it's good to slice through those parts and add spice thanks for the review

You still have to prep the food you put in there. You have to wash the veggies, cut them up, etc. Cut meat, etc. So at the "end of your work day" you aren't just pressing a magical button and dinner makes itself (like they imply here). It's only the final step in the cooking process that is different here. The final step being the application of heat to the food. Ok, so this machine, as a cooking apparatus, is unique. It's not a stove or oven. Got it. But you STILL HAVE TO PREP EVERYTHING. So it's not really any different in the final assessment.

Yeah, no one with an ounce of sense would microwave a steak (which is exactly what it is doing)when you can just sear it in a skillet and finish it under a broiler (in the pan it was cooked in so you can make a simple sauce or gravy in) in less than ten minutes. You can boil potatoes in ten minutes and it takes less than five minutes to cut up some romaine lettuce put it in a bowl add some caesar dressing and toss it together. And if you really want to have deep fried food just go to walmart and buy a proper home deep fryer (you can get one for about $150) and if you do it properly using the right oil and heat the oil to the correct frying temperature 375-400 degrees its actually healthier than this piece of shit could ever be.
