I’ve played double bass for 20 years (this tune partly influenced my decision to get one) - I play some fairly complex jazz runs and still find this a bugger to play!

Never stopped blasting D&B. Not baking as much as I used too but that's ok. Break beats (and beats in general) are my daily high. I'm actually hear now looking for some old school jams to add to my library. The rhythm never stops!

This is the pinnacle of DnB in the world. Playing it live and sounding unbelievable, on a medium that EVERYONE can see. You didn't have to go to a rave to hear this, it was on BBC!

Saw a documentary (?) which showed them all playing in a kitchen or something... bass player sat on the counter... never been able to find it since. Best thing I'd ever seen.

I saw Roni Size in front of about 40 people whilst doing sound checks at the Reading festival in 97 or 98 ( too stoned at the time to remember years!). Coolest man alive; and the dance tent rocked later during the performance.

I know this is an old video and it doesn't matter but what the f**k is up with that bass player?? He is so clearly missing that note that it's like nails on a chalkboard.
