_Ronin SC Pan Axis unable to get ''Excellent''_ *SOLUTION* While doing the balance test, I tilt the Gimbal over 25-30°, I then get ''Excellent''. If I immediately balance test again at 15° I get ''Re Balancing Required'', so it is some kind of bug. Just balance-test it at around 30° and it's good. Hope this helps anyone with the same problem. I have spent way too much time trying to solve it before I found out about this and I'm an expert in balancing a gimbal now xD

If you try to hold it right at 15 degrees it will sometimes slip under 15. I always hold it around 20 degrees! Your tip is right on point!

I've just bought one. Box arrived yesterday. Once you have balanced the gimbal with the smartphone, do you need to do this every time you use it and switch it on ?? Or because you have done it once your ready to use it without the phone time and time again.

What camera/lens setup are you using? It may be too heavy
@xTw1sTeDK1LLAx
2 жыл бұрын
Longshot but here goes. Is there any work around if your camera is TOO HEAVY? I've got a Canon RP and I've got a 16-35mm with an RF mount. With the riser/and lense support along with having the slider pushed all the way back and set for the farther notch on the mount it still leans forward. I dont know what else to do to fix it. I'm assuming it's the weight of the RF mount and the lense together that is too much.
@6ixCinema
2 жыл бұрын
It seams like you’ve tried all of the tricks! How far from completely balanced is it? If it’s not far off you could still use the gimbal. It will just put a bit more pressure on the motor which will cause the battery to die faster
@xTw1sTeDK1LLAx
2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the reply, I'm able to get everything balanced except the forward tilt I got it as close to balanced as I could and tried to run the balance test but the motor started to shake viciously and I turned it off before any damage could occur. I am however able to use the set up with my 50mm but that doesn't do me much good when I need the 16-35mm for my Real Estate shoots. Would you think that maybe the Ronin S could support the weight or know of another gimbal that is built for heavy setups? Sorry for the long message and thanks again!
@6ixCinema

@@xTw1sTeDK1LLAx no problem! Yeah the ronin S is a lot better for your combination. There are a few lens/camera combos I can’t use on my SC that makes me want to switch to the S. Hope this helps!

@6ixCinema

After you balance all of the arms, unlock all of the arms and turn the gimbal on. Then go into your ronin app and run the balance test. You should be good to go after that! Let me know if you need anything else! Happy to help!

Is ronin sc compatible with canom m50 with Viltrox and tamron 17-50mm?
@6ixCinema
2 жыл бұрын
It should be fine! The max pay load for the ronin sc is 2kg (4.5lbs). If you are thinking of upgrading cameras in the future, I would look at the ronin s or s2

If you want to be considered even half way professional in making tutorials, learn to speak with a maturity like a grown up.. Dropping "F Bombs" every 14 seconds is what I expect from my 16-year-olds but obviously not from a mature adult. I graduated in RTV in 1989 before digital existed. I worked in Union TV studios to Union film 🎥industry including using steadicams and interviewing A-List Oscar awarded film producers and we think once you learn how to speak like a grown up, you might be on the next level, be teachable, as your communications are not professional yet or even close till you knock out cussing like a teenager.

I’m curious where you’re hearing the f bombs?? 🤔 the bleeps were added because I said the wrong word for roll arm. Just saying lol.
