Every damn joint in my body hurts now at age 59. I lived powerlifting and at my job as a Firefighter-Paramedic it made lifting patients much easier. Now I'm not even motivated to walk down the street. It sucks. I tell my Step-Son that even the new Crossfit craze will damage you just as bad as heavy powerlifting.

Dom LS1 yup, Dorian used HIT techniques. Not nearly as much volume and as much weight. He was a freak though and had crazy strength

I was lucky enough to see him in his prime. Was unreal. People will talk bad but that man was on another level. His passion was amazing.

Ronnie is the best of all time. There's no discussion about that. Put the best version of all the past Mr. Olympias on the same stage. 2003 Coleman destroys them all.

I don't like 2003. I accept the fact that he was an abomination never seen before. But his 99 looks is leaner, just as sharp and still as impressive. 99 Ronnie is good against anyone, he may only need his 03 form against the best version of Heath.

Gábor Szabó Phil would only stand a chance against 2002 Ronnie, out of his victories ofcourse.
@Wikingking

Nah. Phil is really crazy good. People tend to give him way less credit just due to the fact that he's a cocky asshole. Best years of Coleman would dominate him, but Phil is more consistent and he could top weaker-years Coleman.

Gábor Szabó what I said is right, and that is the fact that he would only, maybe, win against 2002 Ronnie. Phil is crazy good but that is not enough, we are talking about the best EVER. Who is the best aftet Ronnie, at their peaks? Jay, Phil, Flex and maybe Victor Martinez at their peaks.. None of them beats Ronnie.

Lots of haters, even more supporters, but Ronnie knew what he was sacrificing when he pushed his body beyond the limit to achieve probably the best *open* bodybuilding physique of all time. He left it all on the gym floor and he's the king.

I have wondered how Ronnie could have had a family be a police officer and a professional bodybuilder. But he answered that in this video. His family supported him. They weren't selfish. Hard to find families like that today.
