One thing I really love about Ronnie is he has the same personality as before he was famous. Looking at this clip is like going back in time. He aged well, good lord! Though my earliest memory I was about 6 in his living room and my last time I saw him I was 18 at Dodger Stadium. The Laws Family, bros and sis.and his kids(our families have the same name sakes, talk about friends) My Ma still see's him occasionally and his Wife beautiful, still the same loving wife probably over 43 yrs!!! Cause Im 48 now. I last saw his namesake 2009. Good Lord! Ronnie Jr. is his fathers son. True men of Jah!!

If the term 'smooth jazz' has an existence, then its embryonic life must go to Ronnie (and, of course, Grover Washington).listen Ronnie's 'Fever',1973 -there about. Najee, Beasley,Kim Waters,Boney James, ...are soprano influencees OF Ronnie's (and Grover's.

Great Jazz performance of the classic and realistic more than just a song "People make the world go round." However, Goddesses and Gods make the earth fly, spin and move through the universe with a counter revolutionary spin.
Saw Ronnie Laws & Angela Bofill double bill in Chicago years ago. Wonderful concert. I feel that RL never truly got the accolades. Nothing against Kenny G but that's where the hype was directed.
