It’s incredible that he was only 15 years of age here, (only turning 16 in December 1991). His break of 92 took only 5 minutes and he had some awkward balls to pot! He actually made his first competitive maximum break of 147 in this year (1991) and his first century break in competition at only 10 years of age! The records have piled up since then, and Ronnie is without question, the greatest snooker player in history, as no one can compare to his achievements and records! Genius, Entertainer and Artist, three words that completely define The Rocket!

Hi Mike I'm in the UK I used to go to motorbike club called the 59 club that had two full size tables I think my highest break was forty something lol After you've played on a 12' x 6' snooker table when you go back to the smaller pool table you'll be thumping those balls in with a new found ease especially with those huge pockets you guys have on your pool tables lol. These professional snooker players make it look way easier than it is, when I would play a long shot it was like the cue ball and the colour ball were in different counties ! I hope you get to play a frame or two one day you will either get addicted or bored 👍 Here's a thought this must be the one time the UK has a bigger version of something than the US 😉

It’s crazy seeing how much his positional game improved when he started playing on multiple options instead of one red. His ability to pot isn’t in question, but back then, his cue ball control was much less refined. Proves the whole “natural talent” doesn’t mean he hasn’t practiced or tried. So many recovery shots here from poor positional play.
