Thanks for this! Just achieved my first rope climbs! Really happy as 51 and suffering continuous tendonitis issues, joined CrossFit this year and pretty hooked.

The ropes are durable and just like the ones at the gym. kzitem.infoUgkxTFxba6lNeHrZaHoY_LXe6ZzmMfaipnwu Caution: I bought the 50 feet ropes and they are long and heavy so make sure you have the space (I do have the space). If I was to do it again I would probably get a shorter version as 50 feet (25 feet each side) is a little long.

Thank you so much. I learned how to climb a rope a few years ago for the Spartan Race and haven’t done it since… until today.

This really helped thanks. Gonna try it - the instructor tried to explain it to me another way and I just couldn't understand. I could tell I was using my arms instead of my legs, then I got blisters on my fingers from sliding off wrong. I thought it would be so easy - nope.

I'm making something for rope climbing in science, so one question do we need any safety gear in this sport?

Was wondering what the best climbing rope to get would be. I bought a polypropylene rope bc it will be outside but it seems very stiff. Is there a better choice?

Great video! I always keep the rope on the outside vs in between to eliminate any burns.
