She strummed with Sun House when she was 15. Safe to assume she knew where she was headed in life at a young age. You have to admire a gal that has done what ever the hell she wanted to do, her whole life. AND she is an awesome guitarrista.

Fabulous job 😊One of my favorites, and you killed it. I got almost as annoyed with the rubes in the audience talking over you as I used to when I did my acoustic sets, way back, in the day! Glad they started listening. They don’t know how much that hurts the soul when you are actually trying to say something with your music!❤❤❤

Rory has been my Dear Dear friend, my mentor my teacher for so very long. I can't remember, not knowing this Gracious lady. She is a Treasure.

She has been a force for traditional blues for about five decades. Her declamatory style reminds me of John Hammond.

I have been trying to play this for the last 50 years after Rory and Stefan Grossman brought out their first instruction record. Other well known artists e.g. Eric Clapton and Marc Knopfler have tried to play it but it seems they never quite reached the standard that Rory and Stefan reached (even 50 years ago).

A journeyed blues Elder worthy of respect. I've loved her power, passion, and deep connections with the blues since...a fair while now. Other "white chicks lost in the blues": Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, Larkin Poe, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Samantha Fish, Janis Joplin, Beth Hart, Debbie Davies, Sue Foley, Anna Popovic, Mimi Fox, and more. Just sayin...

Props for singing it but too much emoting. And she's pretty much playing it but leaving some good stuff out and really having to work at it. So I would have to vote for Stefan Grossman's version even if he didn't sing it.

Can't please everyone....I suppose if there was one way to play and sing it then there's be no problem....life would not exist...we would be solid, dead crystals.
