She was a icon. As a little girl in the 60s she was my idol. She was always strong, sparring with the guys, never that I remember a mom. She was always her own person smart and funny. In a sea of vapid weak women I just loved her

Beautiful and remarkable. She was a great humanitarian as well. She deserved more recognition than she got. I grew up watching her movies. ☃️🎄❄️⛄️

@@scrapbaby2 So what? At least she expressed how she feels. But why do you have three different comments to still criticize her? Lol. Don’t you know how to edit your comment to correct it? But neither of your comments are perfect. So you have no room to criticize her spelling. 🤦🏻♀️

1:21 has to have been written by gay writers. It’s just that wicked, and funny.

Gay writers?! Lol No. So, a woman can’t write like this? You assume it was a gay man? There were a lot of script writers that were women back then too. I looked up this movie, out of curiosity, no gay writers. There was one man and one woman. The male writer was married, to a woman and he served in the Army. In those days, if a man was found out he was gay, he would have been discharged and probably put in jail. Even then, women had a dark sense of humor, especially when it came to writing books or scripts, because they were just as creative.

She’s such an hilarious icon. I was exposed to her work when I watch The Women, the original obviously not that dreadful remark, and I fell in love with her superb comedic timing and facial expressions! A true titan of talent in classic Hollywood ❤

The Women is how I was introduced to her too! She stole the show. I definitely noticed her 😁
