I think I see where you are coming from. Anger can definitely be used as a source of fuel to get things moving. To be fair, anger is also something a lot of people get carried away with, and that can be disempowering. Just look at what is happening in America with the media and identity politics. People are angry about some things and some people and are taking it out on anyone who they perceive to be in their way. It's nearly illegal to be white, conservative and proud of your country. Not that the UK is in much better shape, but the United States seems to be angrier than any other country right now. Many of my feminist friends can't even see the good things the conservative party and Trump are doing because they are still angry that Hillary lost. Not a good look for anyone.

It’s pure ego and degrading to people who have been through something we have not. Who are we to decide so strongly that we “know” what they should have done. I wish like crazy that people would have blown the whistle on him a long time ago but I also believe that it came out when society was ready for it and would any that enough is enough. I don't know why, but since I was little I love her. I discovered her in Charmed in 2006/2008. I must have been between 6 and 8 years old. And in Charmed, she has always been my favorite witch and my favorite actress. I don't know why, but she's giving off something. She is so inspiring. Then growing up when I discovered her story and then read her book, I understood why I always admired her. She is an incredible woman, strong, courageous, intelligent, funny, beautiful... A good example of Woman. I love her so much. All her life she suffered. Her book really touched and moved me. I wish her the best of luck in her life. Love You Rose🌹❤️🥺✊🏻👏🏻💪🏻🙏🏻🤩🔥

She's right about the film industry. I used to work on film sets and before metoo the sexual harassment was open and just accepted. There was nothing that could be done about it. It was towards women often young or underage, and young men also. I would see it on set all the time and there was nothing that could be done. That's why metoo had to happen so that we could at least do something about it. Everyone got caught up in microaggressions but really it was about being able to speak out against rape and sexual harassment.

Rape and sexual abuse is wrong PERIOD. No matter what a woman wears, she should not be objectified or abused. However, the most strident voice of the M-too movement is the gal who wore the almost naked dress to that awards show. It just bothers me somehow.

I hear what a lot of you guys are saying. & I don't think she's "too" outspoken or just needs help. The truth is, if we didn't have people speaking out about these things nothing will change. No matter how it comes across. When people are silenced for a long time, of course people are going to think they're being too loud & angry on the microphone now that they finally have one.
@yardengali
5 жыл бұрын
Wtf are you talking about? Are you claiming nobody talked about the "casting couch" before? Or are you saying women's roles have never been discussed before that nitwit attention seeker came along? This woman has had a mouth since she was born. She claims to have been using it from very young on. Certainly from "Charmed" on she had a platform. She dated a guy who was outspoken and tends to date outspoken women. Nobody silenced this woman and none of the subjects she chooses to prattle superficial "thoughts" on are new to public or private discourse for decades.
@wisteria321
5 жыл бұрын
@@yardengali No I didn't say that at all. What I was saying is people, and apparently you, think this is all a bid for attention. & you know what maybe she is. But a lot of these things are hard to talk about and doesn't seem to me that this was talked about as much on this level before. Obviously people still aren't believing them even when they are speaking about it. I think its a great thing more & more are feeling like they can speak about this publicly because more are coming forward whilst knowing that they're going to be berated and not believed by people as well. A lot of them haven't spoke out precisely because of that and the outrageous threats against them. Of course none of this is new, but the more outspoken & louder people are the more it hopefully will get into the damn collective consciousness even if it is people like her in Hollywood. That is all.
@yardengali

@@wisteria321 You say you didn't say that and than you repeat the same damn thing. You either are young and historically ignorant or you are very very unobservant if you think these things were not spoken of before. As for Rose..you damn right I think she is an attention seeker. And not just that but also a bold faced liar and huge hyporite.
@wisteria321
5 жыл бұрын
@@yardengali You're not getting it. I'M NOT disagreeing with you on that these things have been spoken before throughout history. It is a tragedy that its always been spoken about yet people still don't want to hear or believe them. What I'm saying is that I hope more and more people will start paying attention to these issues and believing them. If your issue is with Rose, fine.
@yardengali

@@wisteria321 You are backtracking my dear. And my issue is with liars who claim victimhood for their own free choices and make fame and money over the backs of actual victims. Liars and hypocrites are never an asset to any cause..quite the opposite in fact.
