the fact that this song is still being used just goes to prove how good this song was. With it coming out in 1976. Then Mary J. Blige in 1994. Then Cam'Ron's Oh Boy in 2002. And now Mahlia's What you did, in 2019! So good. I love music

I'm turning 64 and I had this album. I never get tired of this heart felt real Soul music. This would have been a great song to have in the original Sparkle. Could you see Ms. Lonette Mckee aka Sister pouring her hear out singing this ? This is the real deal Soul music and no body today can come close . Like the late great Soul artist Tammi Terrell sang ,Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing Baby!

Legendary group and voice (Gwen Dickey). With gratitude for your pioneering sound. Hip/Hop/Rap and R&B, in fact music owes a depth to your music/voice. We need to give these great Soul artists their flowers while alive rather than waiting till after they are dead. God knows some of these greedy record exec's aren't. A lot of these pioneers dont get the credit they truly deserve. In fact this current generation still "sampling" your music- see Mahlia/Ella Mai song.
