Just found in a tiny bit of damp moss in my garden... 0.5mm Rotifers, Tardigrades, Nemitodes and an unidentified segmented worm, possibly an insect larvae? Look at the water current while the Rotifer feeds, the tiny crown of scilia appearing to spin, directing food into its body. What a fascinating invertibrate and very good reason to discourage kids from eating moss! Magnification about x300. Some dark-field experiments too.
