This is great. I've already worked on two rotoscope projects rotoscoping three sequences, and this time i have to rotoscope a new one... All i can say is... Man rotoscope it's really hard, i mean, it's pretty hard to do it perfectly, its fate is to be imperfect, but our work as animators is to lead it the best, so it looks better than what it actually is. It sure took your time, and its not a perfect work but I'm amazed how you managed to do this. I hope you still on this stuff. Great job.

@johnthenater being already two years ago, i remember that i worked on it everyday. for the hours i can't really remember, but maybe 4 hours. there were times i remember that i could complete 1 or 2 scenes in a week, for more difficult or complicated scenes maybe more. but i had a due date to hand this in, so things had to be rushed.

@Subparanon Thanks. Its been about two years since i made this, i know its not the best but its what i could do at the time. Right now, i think i can do WAY better than this, having more time and skills and spend more effort on a storyline. If i have the chance in the future i might make another rotoscope animation, but its one of the most tedious tasks ever, it almost puts me off doing another one, but in the end you feel so glad at what you've made.

Painting over footage frame by frame, no shortcuts. You could use easier techniques, but Rotoscopy is frame by frame hand drawing.

Seguro, es mucho laburo pero le da esa vibración a las lineas que lo hace lo que es rotoscopia clasica, le da un estilo de hand draw.

@mwoesik77 Yeah, thats why it seems alot of people don't choose to do it. But if you have some good ideas, and have enough time, and are willing to put hours and hours into this, then you can probably make something really great. But first planning should be begun really really early, and what your gonna do should be decided on soon, otherwise there won't be enough time by the end of it.

@trastulo well first of all i hand drew it by using a graphics tablet. and if i had tried to make it seem less jittery, that may have taken double the time, and over the time limit i had. and its called the "boil" in the industry, where it shakes and quivers, and is often used to artistic effect. for me i didn't want it to seem too perfect, and mainly for the time restraints i had.
