so i think this changes how im going to clean my rotor now. n at lest i know i can throw it into my gearbag without the felling its going to break. i hope it can take the Arizona sun cuz imma leave it out there for a good week or so :p

Yeah the paint might not be as durable but after you drop it and break the paint inside just go soak it in the creek for a good 2 minutes then dry it off by putting it on a spit over your campfire

"Now to dry it off...heat always works." (pulls out a blow torch and torches it for a while) "It's pretty warm, look see the plastic is starting to bubble up in there. I don't know what heat does to batteries so we shouldn't do it too much." I think the batteries explode, I've never tried it but it says on them that they might explode in put into a fire. "Still going, still going, everything is melting" (blow torches tend to do that :)) I bought a Rotor because of this Video, Thanks Dye!

Just played in some heavy rain the rotor ran like a champ, last week i play in a very dusty tournament, after several games started to act funny, a quick disassemble and and a bottle of water it was running like a CHAMP!!! Great product i love the simplicity of the design.

@littlebuch When an airtank is rated to 4500 psi, it can take more and higher pressures for short amounts of time, but is not intended to. Its just nice knowing you have a safety net. Like rotor in the sun, blow torch to demonstrate the safety net. Worried about rain, it can be submerged,so you have a safety net there. .

I know it seems overkill to drop it in water, but the point is... cleaning becomes a LOT easier... especially when you get a ball break INSIDE the hopper (due to brittle paint)... you can take it apart quick, perhaps pour some water-rinse, wipe and you're done.

I recently torched the side of my Rotor to convince a teammate to purchase one. It began to melt immediately and I jerked the flame away. Now it looks like a paintball hit my loader with ultra-force and left a permanent mark. Why is my Rotor shell not torch proof!?
@IsDatKevin
8 жыл бұрын
+TyVan11 Uhm the reason why he torch it and not meant is because of the water. The water takes up most of the heat before evaporating which is why there is little effect on the plastic.

if you are worried about the problem with tightening the rotor too tight on your gun in the manual it says it will cause damage to your rotor if you do that, well, that is true, but you know how you have the grip in your feedneck that is rough and may scratch the paint off when you are twisting the rotor off?THAT DOES NOT DAMAGE YOUR ROTOR!!! just shouting that out so people know. and if you want to know how it damages your hopper if it is too tight all it does is make your hopper feed slower
