Just watched 3 different videos on roughening type, and all three gave different techniques! I think this one gave the result that I was looking for. Nice work!

This is awesome. I have scans of vintage French receipts and I want to extract words and add words, so this will help me to make it look like they belong together. BTW - I have your Artisan Collection which has lovely roughening. I appreciate that you include your previews in the download. Cheers.

Awesome tip! You can also use that blur technique to smooth out jaggies on low-res logos. Thanks for sharing…

Hi Jeremy. Love your work. How do you achieve the rubber stamp textures used in certain parts of the infill on fonts such as Holtzberg or Epilogue?

Is there any chance you could show how you built the effect that's applied to your name in your new logo as of 2020? It looks like there's more than just a mask going on : ) Thanks!

It's to outline the type. You can access this same option at the top grey panel. It would be Type>Create Outlines. Ctrl should work, but you need to have text highlighted in order for it to work. Thanks!
