Congrats on making one of the few but VERY appreciated 'without context' videos that legitimately edits the clips short enough so the context is actually excluded. @Sattlen
Жыл бұрын
Well back in the in the '80s and early '90s, a cavalcade of cartoons was created to advertise an existing or upcoming toy line. So they had quite a shoestring budget since it's main purpose was the marketing, and garfield is a money making icon, yet loveable, he wasn't meant to be funny but became funny. Garfield And Friends was a saturday morning cartoon, they didn't really have a lot of time to give their all to the backgrounds or animation, however the voice acting was top tier and the writing was usually very good which made the show as good as it now is. The show didn't feature any disney level animation or backgrounds, but it still managed to have a soul, it felt lively, the backgrounds and the animation wasn't horrible though, it's a cartoon so it's more forgiving, I think the artstyle of this show has made it rather unique, you know what it is when you see it, because no other show looks quite like it, it just has this special look to it.
