Research in interpreting is getting increasingly interdisciplinary and very active in many of fields of investigation. On June 20th 2024 at The Department of Interpreting and Translation (DIT) of the University of Bologna at Forlì, we had the opportunity to take stock of the current and future trends during a round table with four leading interpreting scholars: Agnieszka Chmiel (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan- Head of Department of Translation Studies), Min-hua Liu (Hong Kong Baptist University · Centre for Translation), Alessandra Riccardi (University of Trieste - Department of Legal, Language, Interpreting and Translation Studies) and Elisabet Tiselius (Stockholm University - Institute for Interpreting and Translation Studies, Department of Swedish Language and Multilingualism. President of the European Society of Translation Studies, EST).
The round table was moderated by Mariachiara Russo from DIT.
