Hi Carson, great video of the rounding up of the Buffalo. That run has to be a lot more tiring for the horses as it is so much more fast paced than herding cows. I was amazed at how fast the herd of Buffalo moved. The poor riders that got dumped must have gotten pretty beatenup with running at that speed. It is a great memory, that you were able to experience all together with your dad and Uncle Boyd. I'm sure all of the spectators watching made it more of an exciting experience. South Dakota is some beautiful country with a lot of open land. Best wishes as you begin the process of getting your own cattle out of the hills.

Another great video Carson . Thanks for taking us along on your Buffalo Roundup adventure . I started riding horse in Custer Park in 1981. Been back many times. Love the scenery, staying at the horse camp, and of course the Buffalo . Had a few close encounters with the old bulls along the trails . They definitely need respect and caution . Sure wish I could participate in the roundup sometime .

Looked like a great time was had by all! Such a great turnout of people! That was quite a herd of buffalo 🦬 wish the microphone could have picked up the sound of there hooves pounding the ground at full speed , bet it sounded like rolling thunder! Glad they didn’t want you to ear tag the calves! 🤣 Thanks for taking us along for the ride Carson! 👍👋

what a great ride !! Any horse owner would give there right arm to do that ride. In 1976 on vacation my wife and I rented a couple of horses and joined a trail ride there, come over a steep hill we rode up on and disturbed a bull rolling around just as we topped the hill. I can tell you we went down the other side faster then we went up !! Great excitement ,beautiful country. for a Boston kid.
