Wow Jeff this tutorial is amazing. I’m not mechanical either! Lol but you make it look easy and fun. Actually you remind me of a brain surgeon or specialist making a masterpiece from scratch. You have so much knowledge and thank you for sharing it, as well as your love and talent for RC hobby!! We tried the super glue/ baking soda today and it works!! Thank you so much, Doc Brown!!! 😂

I have sealed condensate drain pans with it at work and they never leaked again it’s really quite amazing how it works. Good old chemical reactions you gotta lovem😂😆 Eastside doc to the rescue 😆. Thanks again for the compliments. I do really enjoy this hobby.

Hi EastSide RC i am going to build my first Rovan Baja B5 clone and I want to mount a heavy duty front plate like you do it, 10min in this video you are mounting the front plate, what tools are you using to do that ? can you help me with some info so I can do the same myself, greetings from Søren.
@eastsiderc
Жыл бұрын
www.ddmracing.com/hpi-pem-nuts-for-hpi-baja are use these here steel nuts to mount a plate and you will need a 17/64 drillbit or one just a little bit bigger you don’t wanna go too big that’s why I use the 17/64 and just have to wallow the hole out a little bit with the drill bit then you will need a good flat hard aluminum washer to back up to a screw to draw the pem nut down into the chassis . If you have any more questions, just ask if I don’t answer here just get me on my latest video.

killer build big dude. ? that i can't find on all of the interweb's is how can you stop the baja gas cap from leaking. i tried every cap from plastic stock to ddm and both my baja gas tanks leak from the cap. Do you have a fix/trick to stop the leak from the cap? And i am not talking about the vent hole leaking. Its from the cap to the neck of the tank that leaks.
@eastsiderc
Жыл бұрын
Hey bro heres what works for me! I always do the cap mod I do and seal the vent hole with jb weld . Then I vent the cap and I just use rovan rubber seals inside the caps and I always run ddm gas caps or my ADA racing billet ones you cant get any more and none of my cars leak from the tank cap. So thats what works for me man.

Yessir it sure is its MS222 holds tight but not to tight. Sometimes I gotta use heat if I use to much! A little goes a long way its very thin and perfect for these size screws! I got sick of heating every screw with the blue loctite.
