I'm in love with Australian Gold tinted mineral spf 50 for the face. It's the first one I have used that is truly sweat resistant. And it gives the face a nice color.

I really like the Colorscience flex sunscreen in light. It gives me great coverage and doesn't burn my eyes. Supergoop Matte Mineral Sunscreen is great too. Of course, I got all these wonderful suggestions from you, Dr. Dray. Thank you for all your great advice. I go back to your videos all the time. 😊

I am not surprised that a TINTED sunscreen still has a a white cast. We Asians in Asia tend to prefer lighter skin tones lol.

I thought tinted mineral sunscreens would almost all blend with most skin colors, but I feel like most of them don't lol. Never thought i'd experience a white cast from one

Most tinted sunscreens only have one shade that they consider "universal" for everyone lol. These brands act like everyone has a beige or ivory skin tone. I believe Australian Gold tinted sunscreen and Supergoop CC Screen are a few of the only tinted sunscreens that have more than 1 shade.

@@Camila-mx7rh totally agree, i now feel like I can’t use “universal tint” as reassurance anymore lol. It really is just marketing. And glad in your country they’re stepping it up with lrp, here in the US even their chemical sunscreens leave a cast on me lol

There are some channels I would check out for sunscreen recommendations when it comes to folks of color like Dr Alexis Stephens, The Style and Beauty Doctor and Glow by Ramon. The Style and Beauty Doctor and Glow by Ramon in particular test a lot of sunscreens for folks of color.

Try out the colorescience original tinted sunscreen or the flex in shade light/fair. Another great option is ultra violette clean screen!

How dark is the Drmtlgy mineral? Is it suitable for pale white skin? I found the combination universal tint too dark, but the formulation was amazing.

@@usernameisunavailable8270 I tried both, and although the Physical is a tad lighter, it's still kinda dark for me. For reference, I'm almost always the lightest shade or a little too light for most drugstore foundations.

I'm trying it right now but it's not drying kinda mineral sunscreen so if you want a drying one this is not for you. Also it's shiny, not anti-shine in my experience.

General question about tinted sunscreens. Has anyone tried one that doesn't stain clothes? I've tried a couple different brands and noticed that the stains don't come out in the regular wash.

I use oxyclean spray on the collars of my shirts that get stained. It works like magic. Every tinted spf I’ve used leaves marks.

this sunscreen broke me out 😭😭 i got 3 pimples after twice of using. had to stop immediately cos 2nd time used doesn't feels good... it says anti irritation but i got irritated first time application 😢

@@noneofyobusiness4449 Canada has higher standards set up by some health department when approving medicine and products. This country doesn’t allow certain ingredients for example, an ingredient that potentially causes cancer, but USA will allow it to pass, because it is potentially causes cancer. I think there is another big one where USA use for grass to kill weeds that Canada doesn’t allow. This is my understanding. 💋

She's covered benzene and so have a number of other folks (Lab Muffin, Dr Sugai, Doctorly, Dr Idriss, Dr Bowe, Cassandra Bankson, Glow by Ramon, Dr Rajani, etc). It was a supply chain issue and not the brands deliberately putting benzene in the products.

@@jhen627 As far as I know, Valisure just tested brands for the US market. I don't know about what testing or agencies were done/involved for other countries.

Also, the overwhelming majority of sunscreens found to have benzene were sprays. Almost no lotions were found to have benzene.
