100% the right decision to throw in the towel. Casuals seem to think this is a sport where someone has to be lights out for the opponent to win, this is a human life what you're seeing isn't a game that's real that's a man who's jumped up 2 weight divisions taking punches with a broken eye socket from the biggest hitter in the middle weight division, there's no question it had to be stopped. Kell is an absolute animal for even taking the fight let alone what he managed to achieve in it.

For Brooks backers and GGG fans alike, watch the fight without sound. It was much like the Pascal/Kovalev fight. The roaring fans made it seem closer, but in reality, it was one-sided from the get-go. You'd swear the commentators are being paid by the home team to call it their way, especially PM.

Wtf does brook going 12 with porter have to do with brook being completely gassed and broken mentally, physically ? The pressure and power from ggg is insane and that is why brook was gassed, that's a fact. If you watch that fight and truly can't see how clearly brook gassed and broke mentally and physically, the you have NO idea what you're watching

GGG had to much power for brook who in reality is a welterweight , but brook did have moments in the fight and GGG was frustrated , if he hadn't had shattered his orbital I think the fight may have gone to the 8th because GGG was getting to brook from round 3 and brook just didn't have the power to keep him off, it will be interesting if Jacobs can do what brook did and being a natural middleweight he may well have the power to hurt GGG but I don't think that Jacobs has the skill set of brook to pull this off so another win for GGG maybe 3rd or 4th.

Yes and if brook went to the body, he head hunted to much. I think the excitement and the crowd got to him. but if his eye held up and if he wen to the body i think he could have upset ggg
@michaelgrey6196
7 жыл бұрын
i mean its like he damaged that eye riding his bike before the fight. haha. Gennady broke his eye socket in the first few rounds of the fight. the pressure and power was gonna start breaking him down anyway. Brook wasnt built to take that kind of punishment. GGG almost dropped him in the first 30 seconds of the fight! you think he woulda been able to take 12 rounds of that? no way in hell.
@mijbob7679
7 жыл бұрын
Don't think brook's punches was doing much on GGG, yeah Kell got him with a few shots but no where near stopping him, also the more into the rounds they would have went GGG would have broke him down. Peace

I hear you but there are a lot of fighters who suffered damaged orbital bones because of freak punches. Pacquiao damaged Margarito but no one else, and margarito has taken big shots from many people. i think it was a freak punch, yes its his power but also it could have been the angle and other factors.

yea y'all better had cut that shit off right there because y'all know what Roy Jones said right after that . he said what everybody in boxing that's anybody said . it's time for ggg to stop fighting all of these over the hill foreigners and bums from America and fight a top fighter . teddy atlis said the same thing he's tired of seeing him fighting these bum's and getting praised for it . know other fighter got that kind of special treatment . it's a shame man but the good thing about this fuckery is the boxing association is backed in a corner now with letting ggg get away with this fuckery so they had to order ggg to fight Jacob . so send it to a purse bid and get the fight sins sealed and delivered . so he can get his ass whooped
