I have all ways admired Roy Scheider, my favorites Blue Thunder, The French Connection, The Seven Ups, and Both Jaws films. I feel the original Jaws gave him so much popularity which he so much deserves.

Hi Lobo, for a few years in the 1970s Jaws was my favorite film (my no.1 favorites keep changing all the time, I should stick to one). I haven't seen The Seven-Ups, I should check it out, I liked the poster. Thanks for posting.

Good ole Roy. An underrated actor. He has a great Top 4. #5 Sorcerer is one that I have wanted to see for a while. Favorites would include #1 Jaws, #13 Blue Thunder and #21Jaws 2. I know Jaws 2 is not nearly as good as Jaws....but 21st? Number 16 is an underrated movie. I remember when it came out, it fizzled at the box office....but was a huge VHS renter....ah the memories of my video store days. Voted up and shared at www.ultimatemovierankings.com/roy-scheider-movies/

Hi Bruce, I've seen Sorcerer a few times, not a firm favorite, the original Wages of Fear was better. I have them both on blu-ray. Blue Thunder I've watched many times back in my VHS years. Jaws 2 is 20th on your critics chart so not much better than my 21st place ranking. 2010 was a big favorite of mine, saw it at the cinema, stunning visuals before the CGI era. Thanks for the vote, share and comment, it is appreciated.

Love Roy Scheider. Jaws was always a favorite growing up, but have recently been looking for his other movies. One movie not on this list which I think was pretty good is Somebody Has to Shoot the Picture from 1990. Its on KZitem.

Hi Flora, good to see you've watched Jaws even if it's not a favorite of yours, any particular reason btw? Too tense? Fear of the sea? Sharkophobia? I have arachnophobia, but I can watch films with spiders in them. Your tally 7 out of 25, not bad. I've seen 10, my favorites are - Blue Thunder, 2010, Marathon Man, The Punisher, The French Connection and Jaws. Thanks as always for commenting, much appreciated. Happy you liked the posters and stills.

@@Top10Charts3978 I have arachnophobia too and generally try to avoid all films with big ones. The only exception is Badlands where I know when the spider is coming I can look away until the scene is over. As for Jaws not being a favourite, just not into shark films. Much as I love Gregory Peck,Moby Dick isn't a favourite either.

It's not just spiders, I can't stand insects either, if a moth flew in the room I would go out of my way to try and get rid of it otherwise I couldn't concentrate on what I was watching. A friend of mine had a pet tarantula he kept in a cage, one day I went to visit and noticed the tarantula wasn't in it's cage I practically flew out of there. :)

@Randy White For me, I am not a big fan of most movies from the 1970s. I prefer films from the studio system era. Klute and The Seven-Ups are both well made, but perhaps too violent for me. I will try Jaws again if it comes on TV.
