Hi sir, big fan. I have been following your channel for sometime now. I really need a suggestion though. I am 5 ft 7 and with proper boots may be 5ft 8. Will I be able to handle the bike for daily commute usage and long usage keeping in mind that the weight of the bike is lot ? I really like the bike and I just want to make sure that I don’t regret later. I took test ride 2 times but they don’t allow test ride for longer durations where I can check the bike handling in idle conditions. Please help

Bro I got my H450 in February and I'm 5.5 ft. Yeah for initial 2 weeks I struggled with it. But once I found out the balance, it became very easy for me. And yeah I use my himalayan 450 daily for my college.
@SrinivasGanesh

Handling the bike is not a bike issue but a rider thing. With enough practice it will become an extension of you. So don't worry about 5'7", or 5'8" go for it. The weight of the bike is not a lot it is only 196kilos with two big wheels! You are overthinking sir, I would say take multiple test rides from multiple showrooms. Every showroom has a different policy so you have to work around it. I would have helped if you stayed in Gurgaon. lol but how do I help you virtually?

@SrinivasGanesh
5 ай бұрын
Heat is a very subjective thing. I have seen this in many riders. Many of them can withstand a lot of it and not be bothered by it. Some are way too sensitive. It all comes down to getting used to it and working around it. Like proper gear. Shoes jacket, jeans etc.

I am looking to get Himalayan 450 but I took test ride of Scrambler 400x and it was amazing too. But its tank range is only 250-300 km. How is the city and highway mileage? Scrambler is out of list due to low tank range.
@thekushinator

No bike is perfect. I wouldn't write of the scrambler just for this. Agreed its not ideal, but there is a lot going for the bike. The only place it can be a con is ladakh, you could carry a jerrycan.

@@thekushinator250-300 kms tank range isn't all that bad to be honest for a scrambler. I did Ladakh and Spiti ride with my Interceptor which flashes low fuel light at around 220-230 kms.
