I think the Himalayan still serves as a better offroader for the purpose the Trails came for. It would have been nice to see a longer front suspension, bigger rear sprocket, some weight shedding, more luggage carrying capacity and a switchable ABS. That would have made trials a step ahead from Himalayan 😊. And Varun said it right at 5:16 😊 Even said that no hates on this model. 😊

Always The Himalayan because when it was launched it was totally a new segment, the sense of freedom that you can take it anywhere is awesome. . It looked so promising leaving aside all it's past it's still the best pocket friendly capable off-roader would get one if it gets 650 engine 😍😍😍

Yes, Royal Enfield does sell you emotions. Frustration, Anger, Disappointment to name a few. Couple of things about your review: 1. No one corners on Bullets. Even the die hard RE fans would say the same 2. Even the actual ADV bikes on the market don't have such ridiculous exhausts. If anything, I would be afraid to mount my luggage as there is a high chance it could burn 3. The bike is too heavy to be a good off-roading machine. This is true however of most ADV bikes on the market. The first thumb rule of off-roading is to have to a lightweight motorcycle, I am there to have fun, not test how good I am with Squat-pushing the bike up 4. Engine refinement doesn't need a separate comprehensive review. You can feel those as soon as you start the motorcycle and rev it. 5. You get the Himalayan for the same price. Why would anyone buy this?

I love this bike, it’s just a great looking design, It might not be as practical or refined as a Honda cb500x. But you don’t buy a bike like this For the same reasons or riding experience. If it comes to where I live in Canada I will probably Get one, I rode a classic 500 and enjoyed it for It’s simple rougher experience.

Of course the Himalayan That is one of the Royal Enfield signature motorcycle in the indian market. An affordable adventure tourer, a ride which doesn't give up on the rider or the road. And as the tag lines says built for road and no roads. The best part is when you let go of the tarmac and still feel the same. The smile that the ride brings on riders face as soon as you hit off road says it all.

i would really like to meet the person who sits in the Spare department, with the classic 350 and then give the job to reimagine how new models can be made with existing parts but by just painting them different colours. After Having made Himalayan the 650 twins, i was under the impression that Enfield had started making some sensible bikes. But alas, they want to paint old bikes and rename them to something new (eg Redditch edition, Stealth Black, Pegasus and so on) but keep the same rubbish mechanics. Which Enfield would i prefer you ask. Well, if they put a gun to my head then i would choose Interceptor 650.

As far as adventure riding is concern, I would never leave my Himalayan . Best bike for the budget and it takes me wherever I want and whenever I want and this bike doesn’t disappoint (small breakdown sometimes ). If Royal Enfield comes up with 650cc with higher low end torque , they will dominant adventure segment across India . Cheers powerdrift

Is this video supposed to be just a dramatised description of the bike or a genuine bike review? The cinematic shots and over enthusiastic script is not what the viewers seek but a sincere low down on the pros and cons of the bike. Any person with basic know-how would know that this motorcycle is an impractical cosmetic upgrade. Please be true to your followers, otherwise its better to see the brand films which offer the same dramatic footage and bias flowery description.

This is a big disappointment. I was expecting something close to a scrambler but changes are just cosmetic. The frame seems to be tweaked from behind the engine and I don't understand why. It's like they thought of a scrambler, gave it up swept exhaust but completely forgot about suspension travel.

I've ridden the interceptor on a soaked road. Even though it's got semi-slicks, it felt confident. Easily the most manoeuvrable RE and a breath of fresh air for RE enthusiasts. A year ago, I also rode a bullet 350 in the rain at Kasol. TERRIFYING! The classic and the bullet series desperately need new engines. The amount of vibrations you get are just not acceptable in today's world.

This bike is made of Cl500 crome , old GT535 , old classic exhaust which wasn’t sold after BS4 Rule came the some himalayan parts and GT650/int650 fork gaiters they made a mixed breed from all the left over parts and pretending as the history repeated after 70 years . If i have to with RE I’d take CL350 black for pure motorcycling coz i hate lamda sensor upon exhaust in 500cc categories

They must have at least provided a switchable ABS & the weight of the motorcycle should have been reduced Drastically , to be honest it's just an off-road version of the bullet I hope they'll introduce bikes with better ergonomics in the Upcoming BS 6 version

classic will be my choice .. in my opinion it looks and feels better with larger tyres compared to bullet , & classic has self start which comes handy in traffic and we can modify the classic even better than trails if we want to do off roading ..

excpt for the exhaust.... there is nothing the classic 350 cant do...... RE should have modified Himalyan into a scrambler unstead.. they are just milking the success of the classic thats all

I am a classic owner and this is sad to see these launching repeatedly by RE, no mechanical change, no new features, no less vibes, no engine tweeks, just a few cosmetic changes, and a brag about history. I wonder why would someone upgrade if there is really no upgrade. Also RE could have utilised well the parking light as DRL but their engineers are either dumb or they didn't do it purposefully and let the battery drain easily. They launched Pegasus edition with so much hype but same old story and no ABS. This is ridiculous.

You said it perfectly. Just upgrading looks and body over the period. Not gonna help RE. Need to work on Engine, mechanics.
