This is Royal Kludge's first "gasket mount" keyboard. I put that in quotes, as it's the type of gasket mount found on many of the budget options; yes, there are gaskets, but once the case is closed, there is hardly any room for the gaskets to give, hence the board having little to no flex stock. Now, this can be optimized via modding, but Royal Kludge, in all of their wisdom, chose to place four corner screws UNDER adhesive feet; that is a clear sign of "STAY OUT!", not necessarily something I want to see since I am big on modifying my keyboards to finesse the sound and feel I prefer.
Despite it's "unwillingness" to be modded, this keyboard is quite nice stock and since it is hot swappable, if one wanted to just change switches and keys, it'd probably be good enough for many, just not for me.
The included SkyCyan switches were decent and prelubed. If I had to guess, I would say they are manufactured by TTC, but that's just me comparing moldings.
