2:12 As a friend of the Brave Alice crew I can confirm this. Even when it's a two syllable name a native English speaker will still mispronounce it. :D 3:02 You can fix that via the Pathways preset in the mass placement tool window. It will prevent the assets from randomly tilting. One super important detail you left out is that everyone can share their creations on the Steam workshop. It doesn't matter if you just customized a desk with a few extra items or if it's an entire city, you can upload it to the workshop and everyone else can download and use it in their worlds.

I've been thinking about playing around with this for some larger maps. It's seems like it would be easier for LAZY dm's like me (who always steal your maps) to actually make something. Like IDK, the entire city of waterdeep.

I tried to run two copies of this like your video to do so with Tale Spire but I couldn't get that to work. All I need is a way to test play the maps I make. I posted about it in the steam forums. Seems like it's kind of ridiculous to not build in single player mode to these programs so we could download others maps in the workshop and actually play them. I'm curious what your tho0ughts are along these lines.

I really liked RPG Stories, but I'm not familiar enough with the program to say one way or the other. I know in TS you can go to the top left of the screen and alternate between Player and GM view, I'm not sure what the function is in this one.

Edit since my original comment has disappeared: It's not currently possible but it's planned. For now if you have a GM version with player seats you can invite a second device that's using the free demo version to your session and playtest that way.

Hello! Thanks for your feedback. The playtest feature was released in one of last updates 1 month ago and you can test your maps like a player now. We're a small team and we're doing our best to hear your feedback and working on this. :)

How does it compare to Tale Spire in your opinion?

Tale spire gives you Legos' and calls it's self good. What does it do to actually Paint a world? At least this, has basically all the world painting , actually down, but further still you can put notes on things.

I think the aesthetics are left to taste, I like both for different reasons. I haven’t played enough with the gm tools in this one enough to really compare the two; but it’s still a good looking game and a complete product.
