Last week Alexa and I had the great opportunity to do our first live interview together on RTL Reggeli. I guess you could say this is like the Hungarian version of Good Morning America. Our interview hosts were two cool cats named Mark and David and although I struggled to keep up at times, I did my best and have to say that I found them both to be excellent interviewers. Doing a morning show is damn tough, considering you have to keep multiple conversations going one after another at the crack of dawn. But it's also a perfect environment to test yourself as a beginner in a new language, at the crack of dawn, on a morning show, facing rapid fire questions in difficult slang. I did my best folks, I did my best. I hope these subtitles can help you make sense of my mixed matched slang. You know, it was really lovely having Alexa beside me, first of all because she looked absolutely gorgeous, whereas I looked like a washed up bum in a beachside hostel down in Bocas del Toros panama. I met a guy like that once, but he wasn't washed at all let alone washed up. You could smell him from the moment you walked in, a peculiar mixture of rum, salt water, rotten fish and heavy cannabis use. After the first couple of beers together I forgot all about the fish smell, and besides... ahh, wandering off again, aren't I... where were we...right, Alexa, gorgeous girl, fantastic answers, helped pull along the entire interview while I stumbled through the peanut butter magyar language adding my own illegible paprika dust to the mix. Well, it is a work in progress folks. Language always is, just like writing, story telling, riding a bike, skiing down mountains, training to be an ancient samurai, perfecting a 14th century Italian sculpture, drinking fine wine, raising farm animals, growing gardens, sailing boats, building deep relationships, international diplomacy, foreign finance, tax accounting, conversations, podcasting, dietary knowledge, Swiss politics and any of a number of other endeavors one may hope to embark on.
Learning english is one such endeavour.
I can help you.

If you aren't interested in learning english you can still join because it's really just a bonus content club that I use as my platform for education. I call it an english class, but its really just a way for me to teach people and further my research while receiving some patronage for my art.
Please don't feel guilty if you don't join the patreon. It's more like a bonus for me and a way to buy new equipment and feel extra motivation, plus build deeper relationships with my audience. The more people that join the more fun we can have with each other, but I will never put my content here behind a paywall. And this is what I consider to be my primary teaching platform: KZitem.
Thanks as always and I'm so thankful for all of you.
Peace,
Willie
