Ingredients of Aloo Chorchori:
1. Potato
2. Turmeric Powder
3. Chopped Coriander Leaves
4. Green Chilli
5. Red Chilli Powder
6. Hing / Asafoetida
7. Dry Red Chilli
8. Panch Phoron
9. Cumin Powder
10. Ginger Paste
11. Salt
12. Sugar
13. Refined Oil
Methods of how to make Aalo Chochchori:
1. Heat up a kadai and add 2 tbsp. Refined Oil.
2. Add a pinch of Asafoetida/Hing, 1/4 tsp Panch Foron, 1 Dry Chilli.
3. Fry the masala for 15-20 secs.
4. Then add Potato.
5. Add 1/4 tsp Salt, 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder. Mix well and fry the potatoes on high flame.
6. After frying add 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder, 1/2 tsp Ginger Paste, 1/4 tsp Chilli Powder, Sugar.
7. Fry the masala on medium flame.
8. After frying add 2 cups Water and start cooking on high flame.
9. When the gravy starts boiling add 2 Crushed Green Chillies.
10 . Then cover and cook for 10 mins on medium flame.
11. After 10 mins the potato is cooked now.
12. Add Chopped Coriander and cook on high flame to make it little dry.
13. Our today's recipe Aloo Chochchori is ready.
