I'm a young man (25) but this music is like a lullaby to me because of my late grandparents. RIP Mom and Pop LAW.

Wow! Me and my beautiful wife, danced to Hank's live band in Tucumcari, NM, I think it was in the 50's, what a thrill to still hear his great country music, just simply the best.

I used to go watch Hank in person at The Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas. Later I did get to do some shows with him and Cliffie Stone who used to be his manager.

for country music they are using a lot of electronics
@john26262

Country music has no rules. They can use all of the electronics that they want.

It's a coincidence that you mention electronics. Hank Thompson studied electronics at the University of Texas, and had a degree.🎸

Hugh Jones didn't realize this was video I thought it was a kinescope on film I'm surprised that plays that well if indeed the video tape was stretched as there's almost no video loss at all and I would think if the tape it's stretched there would be some video drop out on the sync signal

@@a1wireless1964 Its originally a kinescope on film. Hopefully that kinescope will be used to make a good copy on tape.

@lyleslarder Personally, I think he sounds nothing at all like Hank Snow. Snow was Canadian and had NO Southern accent. Thompson was Texan and had an unmistakeble sound. I've lived all my life in Nashville, grew up on country music, they are both great, but sorry, they don't sound alike.
