Ingredients
Chicken -1 kg small pieces
For the Ground Masala
Small - 20
Garlic -6
Ginger -1 small
Green chilli -1
Curry leaves -3
Turmeric Powder -1/4tsp
Chilli Powder -11/2 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 3tbsp
Garam Masala -1/2tsp
Oil -2 -3 tbsp
Oil -2tbsp
Onion -3
Tomato -2
Green chilli -2
Salt -2 to 21/4 tsp
Curry leaves
Garam Masala -1/2 tsp
Hot Water -3-4 cup
To season
Small Onion -10
Oil -2tbsp

Method
Take a wok add coconut oil and add shallots,green chilly,curry leaves,garlic ,ginger , pepper and fennel seeds. Saute well. On low flame add turmeric powder and chilly powder and saute well. Add 3 tbsp coriander powder. Saute well. Add garam masala. Let it cool. Grind this masala to a fine paste.
Add coconut oil in a wok . on medium flame add curry leaves, whole red chilly and add onion. When the onion is brown add the tomato. When the tomato cooks well, add the chicken pieces. Mix well. Cook for 5- 8 mins. Add the ground masala. Mix well. Cook on high flame for 5 mins. Adjust the water accordingly. On low flame cook well. Add 3 glass of hot water. Gravy is required so that the parotta is soaked in it. Adjust the spices accordingly. Add some garam masala, curry leaves, green chilly and some seedless tomato.
Take a small saucepan add some coconut oil. Add shallots . saute well. When the shallots are brown add some curry leaves. Add it to the chicken curry. Keep it closed.
Now take a banana leaf and dry heat it. Add one parotta in the center. Add the gravy and the chicken pieces. Add tomato pieces, onion,green chilly and some pepper powder/garam masala.layer it with parota.repeat the process. Make a knot with the string after wrapping the banana leaf .
Steam the parotta for 10 mins.
You can make the kizhi parotta with sambhar for vegetarians.
