At Beverly swamp it’s shotgun and bows only. Any kind of shot is okay to my knowledge. The only reason I know there’s no rim fire is because of the sign at the parking lot.

@@TreeCamps you are right! I called today Hamilton Conservation Authority and someone there confirmed that. He was not so sure about the shotgun shot allowed. He said non toxic only and that this is the rule dor all Ontario. That is wrong I believe.

Is this Beverly Swamp outside of Hamilton? Also, whats with the hunter orange? Birds have good eyesight and will see you coming from farther away with that. Hunter orange is only required in Ontario during an open gun season for deer, elk or moose, even if you're using a bow. The only gun season we have in Southern Ontario is the controlled shotgun hunt, which only runs for 2 weeks in November and 2 weeks in December. At the time this video was uploaded, gun season for deer hasn't started yet, and therefor the hunter orange is not required.
