Really great interview. I liked how the interviewer and Rufus were able to contextualise Rufus' work in the past, today and with a view to the future in just a few minutes.

listened to him while i was in middle school (24 now) and NEVER knew he was gay at all. i love going back and realizing some of my favorite artists are gay!

Honestly I think the timing of his coming-out was not ideal for his career. The vast majority of world were not ready for that then. He is so underrated till this day, because of that imo.
