This is a dyeing video, not using recipes just flying by the seat of the pants. I'm using techniques like basic pot dyeing, mottling, tying (tie-dying), spot dyeing, casserole dyeing, and over-dyeing. This style of dyeing is for people who find experimenting and no-rules liberating and fun.

And here are some affiliate links the products I'm using in this video, available from amazon...
amzn.to/32sCTGj (synthrapol - a wetting agent to use when you're pre-soaking your wool to make the dye take better later)
amzn.to/3hmT7oL (citric acid - I use in place of vinegar because you need a tiny amount, so I'm not storing huge vinegar bottles, and it doesn't smell. I use in in the water with the dye to help the dye take)
amzn.to/30sjzGG (salad spinner - I use his to quickly dry the wool after I rinse it and before I hang it out to dry)
amzn.to/32oShU6 (measuring spoons - you only need these if you're planning to do recipes at some point and you want to recreate your colors exactly)
amzn.to/3h2VjBw (this is a really nice set of autumn colored dyes and it comes with synthrapol and citric acid already!)
amzn.to/2ZBtLx7 (steamer basket - I set this inside the rim of my steaming water and rest wool in it to set the colors through steam rather than in the water)
amzn.to/30mZjpz (Pyrex measuring cup - I mix small amounts of dye in the cup rather than in a big pan of waters when I want to add color or have more control over a concentrated amount)
amzn.to/2WroXII (potato masher - great for tamping wool down and pulling it out of the water quickly)
amzn.to/3fFHmZY (wooden spoons for stirring)
amzn.to/2CPdony (disposable gloves)
amzn.to/39bgs9N (bunson burner)
