This is the 3rd Test match in the 1985 series between New Zealand and Australia, from Carlaw Park, Auckland on July 7. The Kangaroos won the first Test at Lang Park, Brisbane and the second Test at Carlaw Park in the dying seconds. It was not all lost for the Kiwis, though, as this match was the first World Cup match of the round that culminated in the World Cup Final in 1988 (over a three-year period, the final match of a series doubled as a World Cup match).
