Simple fact is Genge is symptomatic of our problems. He is simply not big enough when put against the monsters of the South African front row. Has Borthwick maybe stuck with the policy of splitting Marler/Cole and Genge/Sinkler instead of going with the veterans first, maybe that semi final would have been different? No disrespect to Genge who is a good player, but his technique against Bok props wasn’t great.
