They're great splitters, near ten times the production of a farm store splitter. They can be modified to an adjustable wedge which makes them really nice. I had the 37 ton and I built an 8 way hydraulic wedge for it, that thing was awesome, there are vids of how to build the wedge on my channel if you ever want to convert yours.

As a suggestion, leave the split wood on the discharge ramp and let the next log being split push the pieces into the bin. Should save a ton of time and effort.

Any updates on the splitter, is it still working well? What engine is on it? Thanks!

Yes, I'm still very happy with it. No issues or problems. The engine is a Raven. I had never heard of them before but so far it has worked flawlessly.

If I remember correctly about $4500. But I bought some other stuff for it like hydraulic oil.

Wow… what kind of wood is it that’s popping apart like that?

To be honest I really don't know what I was, I brought it home from a job and they had already cut it into rounds. It kind of looked like maple but not sure. It was free so I gave it a try. It actually burned fairly well but left a lot of ash. Thanks for watching 🙂
