Pro tip for all - Get USAA car insurance. A friend of mine (non military) got T-Boned by someone who ran a red light (trying to beat the yellow) and the runner had USAA. USAA backed up the runner all the way and not only protected the runner from paying for my friend's damage, but gave full coverage for the runner's car (which was considered totaled due to the body work of the runner's car) Edit: How do I know the runner was protected so well? I was friends with said runner. Funny story they ended up becoming good friends later and how we're all 3 this niche group of friends. But long story short, USAA protects the fuck out of you, especially if there is a civilian involved in any way.

I bought a 2017 Acura TLX Technology trim for $16,900 right before joining. Its for my girl to keep cuz she was spending 900 a month for a rental doing uber. I put the down payment and she gonna pay the monthly while we go half. Its my first time getting a car so its gonna do my credit a solid. In also going to refinance it with the military but I gotta research more into it and talk to my recruiter about it.

As a former sales man on the way to joining the military, NEVER buy a new car and always say no 3 times. An effective strategy used when dealing with sales men, they’re trained to sell you a product make it sound good; end of story. Bottom line they don’t give a fuck

You should put "Joining the Marine Corps: insert title of what its about" on your marine corps videos. You will get more views with that algorithm.

There is plenty of "Leadership" in the military. What there isn't an abundance of is Mentors. There is a huge difference, though they can be one in the same. When you do find that one, LISTEN to them.

@AONIXO Question! I just subscribed to your channel, you have great content. I just asked another question in your MOS vid I’d really appreciate for you to check out! With that said. I’m wondering is it worth transporting a veh. You already own that’s at home? Or will you not really require a vehicle at the Base you’re stationed at? (Assuming it’s in the US)
@dr.thriller246
3 жыл бұрын
Of course. If you have a car and where you get stationed is worth the trip to get it there. Also wherever your duty station is and they have buses or ground transportation...Where I was stationed at had buses that went from camp to camp and it wasn’t very expensive. That was in the early 2000’s

When you move, such as you moving to japan do you get to ship your car how does that work?
@AONIXO
4 жыл бұрын
sambo moto it’s a lot of laws with emissions and shipping cars to foreign countries such as Japan! Unless you have like a fully electric car like a Tesla it’s damn near impossible unless you do something to your car that makes it acceptable there! But the Marine Corps won’t pay for you to ship your car that would have to come out of your own pocket

Most reserve units have one or two jobs. In Cincinnati Ohio it's a MotorT/Coms. Columbus is Infantry. So you will usually only be able to do those jobs.
